Lilienthal. Ein weiterer Finne hat den Weg aus dem Land der tausend Seen zu uns gefunden und iwr das Wolfsrudel ab sofort verstärken. Toni Vuorsalo stellt sich im kleinen Interview vor.

Willkommen in Lilienthal, Toni! Wie kam denn der Transfer aus deiner Sicht zustande?
Welcome to Lilienthal, Toni! How did the transfer come off from your point of view?

Zuerst einmal: Es ist großartig hier zu sein! Es war schon immer ein Traum von mir, Floorball im Ausland spielen zu können und nun wird dieser Traum wahr. Ich habe vor der letzten Saison mit Miro gesprochen und in diesen Gesprächen gab es die Hoffnung, dass es mit einem Aufenthalt in Lilienthal klappen könnte. Mein Studium in Finnland hat diesen zunächst noch verhindert, doch jetzt hat alles geklappt und ich bin froh hier zu sein.
First of all, it’s great to be here! Playing abroad has been my dream and now it’s happening. We talked with Miro before last season that I could have a slight chance to come to play but in the end my studies in Finland prevented the transfer. I managed to get my studies to the point that I was able to come here this season. Of course at first I had to clear the try outs which I did.

Wie blickst auf die ersten Wochen in Lilienthal und mit dem Team zurück?
How do you feel about the first weeks in Lilienthal and the time you already spent with the team?

Lilienthal als Stadt scheint sehr schön zu sein, auch wenn ich noch nicht genug Zeit hatte, alle Ecken zu sehen. Das Team hat mich sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen und es hilft ungemein, dass ich einige Spieler bereits von Freundschaftsturnieren in Groningen kenne. Die Mannschaft schein in einer guter Form zu sein und ist sehr motiviert für die kommende Saison!
The town seems very nice although I haven’t had enough time to properly walk around and get to know the hoods. The team has received me well and it helps that there’s a few guys I know from Groningen tournaments. The team seems to be in a good shape, motivated and ready for the upcoming season!

Mit welchen Erwartungen gehst du in die nächsten Wochen und in die Saison im Allgemeinen?
What are your expectations for the upcoming weeks and the whole season at all?

Wir spielen in der ersten Saisonhälfte mit einem hohen Tempo, was schön ist, weil ich denke, dass wir dies alle gerne mögen. Ich erwarte, dass wir gut spielen, unser Spiel weiterentwickeln, Spiele gewinnen und am Ende der Saison Deutscher Meister werden!
We’re playing in a tight pace in the first half of the season which is nice because I think we all love to play. I’m expecting us to play well, develop our play and win games and at the end of the season to be the german champions!
